Boundaries to removal in Turagiri

Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority (BIWTA) has been impeding the clearing drive in Turagiri. On Wednesday, an administration association official was ambushed in the progressing activity on Wednesday. This occurrence occurred in Turagheer in Savar upazila's Kaundia association. 

BIWTA has annihilated in excess of 150 structures, including 35 illicit structures being based on the banks of the Turag waterway in the task that kept going till 5pm. The task was done on the two banks of the stream from Mirpur Jihurabad to Palpara.

In the interim, witnesses said that the association Parishad (UP) director Atiqur Rahman had made a street by involving a tranquil spot, encompassed by Turagiri in the Kaundia association of Savar upazila. A group of BIW came to clear at around 10:30 am. Not long after this Atikur Rahman ceased the activity. He assaulted BIW right hand executive Rezaul Karim. Rezaul Karim was stunned and tossed out. BIWT joint executive AKM Arifuddin, who is on the opposite side of Turag, figured out how to control the circumstance. At the time, the confined officer Hakim Mostafizur Rahman captured the administrator of Atiqur. The activity was shut around 30 minutes for the occurrence.
